I was born in Rochester, N.Y. in December, 1929. I graduated from The University of Buffalo with a Pharm. D. degree in 1952, and went to work at The Roswell Park Institute in Buffalo, NY from 1955 -1995, where I was an Associate Cancer Research Scientist and director of new drug development. I published 53 scientific papers, and wrote one book, and co-authored 2 more.  Please click here to see a list of all of my publications.

In 1982 I formed a new Company, Cellular Products, Inc. which was a biomedical research Company producing Biologicals. I left in 1985 to form my own company, Aurora Biologicals, Ltd., which was the world's largest producer of "Corneal Storage Medium". We distributed this product to 34 countries and 40 states, and in 1985 I sold the Company to "Chiron Opthalmics" of Irvine, California, and retired to Florida.

My wife, Cele, and I then began to travel extensively, and enjoyed visiting many Jewish sites around the World. Although I am by no means religious, the history, culture, and struggles of Jews throughout time has become a fascinating hobby.
